Lodging
There are many hotels in the area. For convenience and value we recommend the Coast Village Inn (800-257-5131) and the Cabrillo Inn At the Beach (800-648-6708); mention Westmont College for a discounted rate.

Getting There
Westmont College is located in the hills above Santa Barbara, at 955 La Paz Road, Santa Barbara, 93108. Maps are online here. Try to arrive by about 11:30 am.

Take US 101 to the Olive Hill Road exit, which is on the Montecito side of Santa Barbara. Turn right (inland). Go about ½ mile then turn left on Hot Springs Road. Go about 1/8th mile then turn right on Sycamore Canyon Road. Go just over 1 mile (through one stop sign) then turn right on Cold Springs Road (note the fire station at the intersection).

After about ¼ mile uphill you will see the College on the left. There are two entrances. Pass the Cold Springs Road (south) entrance, continue uphill on Cold Springs Road, stay left at the "Y" which is La Paz Road, and shortly see the stone wall marking the main entrance on the left. Turn into the entrance. Take the first left into the parking lot. Parking at Westmont is free. The Dining Commons is the building on the downhill side of the parking lot. Check-in and pick up your nametag at the table set up outside of that building. Lunch will be served in the Founders Room, which has its own entrance near the check-in table.

Returning to Hwy 101: Exit the College, turn right, go down the hill to the T (facing the fire station). Turn Left on Sycamore Canyon Road. Go just over a mile then turn left on Hot Springs Road. Go about 1/8th mile to T intersection; turn right on Olive Hill Road down to the freeway.
